Does your service have protection from ddos? If I am under attack, will my site continue to work? (Assuming I'm a paying user).

No, we don't. Whether your site works when it's being attacked is mostly up to your code and your account. If you have views that take a long time to run, then it will be pretty easy to take your site down. If you have fast views and enough workers, it will be harder.
