I wanna ask if my files are public or reachable by others (are they public like on GitHub, for example, or...?).

They're private to you, with one exception: the admin team can see them, but we will always ask for permission first.

However, it is possible for you to share the files, either explicitly using the "Share" button in the editor, or by specifying that another account is your teacher's (which means that they but only they can see all of the files), or by setting up a website and sharing them through that. This help page has more information.
