CNAME issues...my site only works with WWW. added

Hello all...I hope you're doing great.

I'm not a pro at CNAME/A record things, but I have an issue where only when I add a www. before my domain name (madencie.com), does it go... Please how do I edit my CNAME or A records, etc so that both with www and without, it ends up at my site?

I use namecheap, and for CNAME or A record, there has to be a HOST and VALUE.

This is my current setup:

We recommend using the domain redirection feature of your registrar to get the "naked" domain (the one without the "www") working. You just set it up so that yourdomain.com redirects to www.yourdomain.com. This Namecheap help page explains how to set up redirects.

Thank you for the link - I have looked through it...

The issue I face is that there are many options and combinations. Please can you tell me something specific? e.g. how many exact records/redirects I will need to have both the www and no-www addresses going to my app: webapp-1820865.pythonanywhere.com

I can and have set up the CNAME with host:www value: webapp-1820865.pythonanywhere.com

How many other records do I need? Sorry, I know you're not a namecheap staff, but this is the confusion I'm facing, for the no-www address

If I understand the Namecheap documentation correctly, you need only to use "Add Redirect" in the Redirect Domain section for you domain to add the redirection rule.

Hello...I tried that, and it did not resolve it. The redirect is basically a 'forwarding'...so instead it will take you to the .pythonanywhere domain name (visible in browser URL bar).

Please, I still need assistance with this. I think the solution has to do with the CNAME and A record...DNS modification. As of now, my site works with https://www...

But when you go without the www, it takes you to the Pythonanywhere coming soon page.

My site is https://www.madencie.com

And https://madencie.com goes to the Coming Soon pythonanywhere page ...please what can I do?
