Hi all,

I have a web app set up at webapp-395936.pythonanywhere.com and am trying to point that towards mt4.pythonforfinance.net.

I thought I had done it properly but when i visit mt4.pythonforfinance.net, the web app doesnt show up - it just shows my regular website (which is a wordpress blog).

I use Fasthosts to host the domain name and have set upo pthe CNAME as shown below:

Could someone please let me know where I am going wrong? I have waited 24 hours already and run the test at https://www.whatsmydns.net but I just get red crosses across the board.

p.s. when I search on https://mxtoolbox.com/domain/mt4.pythonanywhere.net/

I get the following:

The canonical name seems to have a web app ID of all zeros...

Hopefully someone can let me know what i am doing wrong here as I need to get this up and running! ;)

Issue fixed - I needed to change my CNAME at the place where my site was hosted rather than where my domain was registered.
