Hello Everyone, I am having trouble with install from tar file. I was trying to install libtools and similar kind of tools. I was able to extract but once i run the configure part. After that i was getting the same error "You need to install autotools". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

we do not have that. However, while we don't have automake, we do have the gnu build chain.

We do, in fact, have autotools installed. Either sphinx is looking for a different version and not telling you that, or it's incorrectly detecting that autotools is not installed. You're going to have to raise that with the sphinx developers and see whether they can help you.
