Hi , I'm not able to use apt-get install due to permissions issues : I get this : sudo: unknown user: root sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin

Any thoughts please!

yes- you don't have root permission on PythonAnywhere. we do offer the gcc toolchain, so you can try to compile it yourself in your homedir (so it doesn't require root permission).

also- which apt-get packages were you trying to install?
