Custom domain without cname

I got my domain from a small registrar which apparently I can't set a cname on its panel, I want to know can I point my domain to my web app in another way? like referring to pythonanywhere DNS servers or something?

Who is the registrar? Did they explicitly tell you that they don't provide DNS? Some of them have rather confusing instructions on how to set things up that might mislead you into thinking that you can't set a CNAME when you actually can and it's just hidden somewhere. If you let us know who it is, we may be able to help.

(And also there are separate DNS providers that we may be able to point you to if it turns out to be necessary.)

Thanks for the quick reply. Its a registrar from Iran, called hostiran.net, They do provide DNS but when I explained the situation, they answered that I can't set a cname record from user panel (there's a place for setting cname but it doesn't work), Instead, I have to declare the host's nameservers.

for now, the only option in my mind, is to transfer my domain to another registrar. I just wanted to know if there's a easier way.

You might want to take a look at Namecheap's FreeDNS service.

Thank you so much! you're a life saver!
