Hi

1 - I have a paid account but 'New Ipython notebook' in the Files tab is disabled for me

2 - I tried openning a notebook from consule using Ipython notebook command but I get the following error:

[C 18:35:21.072 NotebookApp] The 'kernel_spec_manager_class' trait of <notebook.notebookapp.NotebookApp object at 0x7f7698fa9d10> instance must be a type, b ut 'environment_kernels.EnvironmentKernelSpecManager' could not be imported

instead of opening the notebook from the console, go to the files tab and fill in a new ipython notebook name and click the "new ipython notebook" button.

+1 to what bfg says. The "create notebook" button is disabled until you enter a filename for the notebook.
