So by far this has been the most challenging aspect of trying to get my project up and running. Some very basic CSS works perfectly in my local environment, and when I uploaded my files to PA the CSS styling did not work.

I followed the two or three pages of ideas and using PA's static files feature on the Web tab, but I still can't quite figure it out. It seems to be that if I completely ignore the static files feature, the existing CSS should work anyway, no?

Great! What turned out to be the problem?

Honestly, not quite sure. But I'm a newbie and still not sure how best django directories are setup, so I think that had something to do with it. I believe I also had another static file hidden somewhere which was throwing things off.
