Is it possible to connect your domain on the free pythonanywhere tariff? Is it possible with https?

Not directly, no. You could set up a redirect for your domain on your registrar's site, so that visits to www.yourdomain.com were redirected to yourusername.pythonanywhere.com, but then visitors to your site would see the URL change in their browser's address bar.
