PythonAnywhere help seems down

Is doesn't seem to be just for me either:

It's not just you! http://help.pythonanywhere.com looks down from here.

I have been having issues with my sites for the past 12 hours or so.

Do you know if this is being addressed?

Thanks

No, I have no idea whether they are checking it. I have just sent an email to support@pythonanywhere.com

Some of my sites hosted by them are down too.

Even their twitter feed seems down!

Seems that just their main site is up.

I emailed them about 12 hours ago, but haven't heard back yet. this is pretty brutal!

Has this happened to you before on PythonAnywhere?

Yes, but not as often as this last week:

Times are UTC+2

is down since 10/06/2016 11:04:29AM.

Thanks my friend, may I ask where you found those times?

Do you happen to know if there is a more reliable service similar to PA? I use PA to serve as an API for other applications, when it goes down - it causes a trickle effect of f*ck-upedness

... is UP again at 10/06/2016 01:09:29PM, after 2h 5m of downtime.

These times are produced by https://www.pingdom.com/ , which monitors our site.

Pleasure, I too am thinking of moving. Not sure whereto though. Heroku, Amazon? I will post here if I stumble on something worthwhile.

Thanks for the link.

I have heard good things about Amazon. Webfaction is also supposed to be very good for django. Both seems to be more hands on than PA.

Pleasure, we also use uptimerobot,

will look at those hosts too, but we don't need django, we are reahl devs :-> www.reahl.org

Hi there -- sorry about that, and our apologies for not posting here earlier. We had two outages, one last night and one shorter one earlier on this morning. Everything should be sorted now, and we're working on identifying the underlying problem to try to make sure this doesn't happen again.

was there some downtime again today at around 10/07/2016 11:54:29AM UTC ?

There was -- still investigating. We post updates on Twitter.
