Update Python Versions

My account includes Python 2.7 up to 3.5, all of which are no longer supported. Could my account be updated to have newer Python versions? Ideally 3.6 through 3.9.

Yes, I understand that I will need to recreate any venvs, etc.

Sure, no problem -- that's done now. Any new consoles you start will have the new system image; any scheduled/always-on tasks and websites will pick it up the next time they're (re)started.

Awesome! Site has been restarted with the new version without issue. Thank you.

Glad to hear that!

@azin -- delete what?

Hi, my account is running on Python version 2.7.12, and I believe my scheduled task is failing because of this. Could you please update it to a newer version?

You no longer need to ask to have your system image changed -- you can change it yourself from the "Account" page. There's more information on this help page: https://help.pythonanywhere.com/pages/ChangingSystemImage
