How to point to a naked domain in Google Domains?

Hi there.

I have gone through this page and this page as well.

Even after all that I am not able to get it to working. I cannot seem to find where this "Synthetic Record" and "Subdomain Forward." is in Google Domains.

I even tried Google Domain's forwarding service under the website tab but it changed the entire CNAME and other addresses to the point that it no longer points to the webapp-xxxxxx.pythonanywhere.com address.

All I want to do is have people access my website using domain.com instead of www.domain.com because it looks much cleaner

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The answers on Stack Exchange are from few years back now -- have you tries Google Domains documentation / support?

Ah I figured it out.

For some reason, in the "Forwarding" page under the "Forward from" tab both "www.mydomain.com" and "mydomain.com" were there by default. Once I got rid of "www.mydomain.com" and kept only "mydomain.com", it worked without an issue.

This is actually really straight forward, and I should have tried that first.

Glad to hear that you made it work!
