I upgraded my account this morning, however I am already in the tarpit again after only a few hours (suggesting my processed, which havent changed, are running more than 10x as expensively)

I see that the tarpit has been reset at the moment of the upgrade (around 2022-06-09 06:46:37 UTC). Then you were put into tarpit again at 11:04:30 UTC. The majority of CPU seconds consumed came from Always-on tasks. Maybe you could look at the logs and check if anything unusual happend?
