Hi there. I'm trying to connect to the planetscale databases but I'm getting the following error:
django.db.utils.OperationalError: (2003, "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'XXX.us-east-4.psdb.cloud:3306' (111)")
However, I can connect to that database on my local machine. I feel like there is a restriction role between PythonAnyWhere and PlanetScale (outside)! Not sure.
You cannot do that from a free account. Free accounts can only connect out using http(s) to a whitelist of sites. So a MySQL connection will not work.
I wish I could have foreign payments though. I would pay for an upgrade for sure cause it does worth it. I can't pay due to the sanctions and stuff. I just need this for like a week. No other way?! That's so tough. :(
If you're in Russia, then I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that.
I'm in Iran. I can't pay with credit cards, stripe, or even Paypal! We are banned from those services.
Yes, Iran is in the same situation.
