So I have given a domain which has cPanel in it, I can I access it from example.com/cpanel

Inside it, I can configure DNS records,

Then I need to add a CNAME record pointing to my web-app, But how to access the cpanel again? Can I still access them via example.com/cpanel ?

Although the main way to access it is via the registrar website (?), I'm afraid the old developer won't give his/her credentials because it might includes many domain and not only this one. I have no way to contact him/her directly so I ask this over here first.

We can't help you with anything related to your cPanel, because we have no idea how it was set up. I can tell you that if you access your cpanel through www.example.com and you point the www.example.com CNAME to PythonAnywhere, you will no longer be able to access you cpanel at www.example.com
