I am using nodebox-opengl module for generating images and then movie. This library needs Pyglet which is tied to OpenGL stuff and which does not run with PA cluster. Do you see any solution for this issue ? Regards.

Hi there, we don't currently support any sort of opengl. The reason we haven't looked into it so far is because pythonanywhere, being a server environment, doesn't have any sort of display, but it sounds like your use case might be a good one.

We'll see if we can look into it next time we do a new server image build -- not sure when that'll be though.

Thx for your answer and your hint. Video content and generation is a surging market. Very few clusters provide such OpenGL support.

I have not performed tests but these kind of issue may also arise with GPU use. GPU is used for a lots of thing like numerical computation, cryptography... And Python is a perfect language for such kind of tasks :)

Back to the main subject, could you ping me back if you wish me to test a new server image build ?
