Looks like the Alt Gr key is not working on console, I'm using a spanish keyboard that places the square brackets on Alt Gr combinations and all that happens is either a line break or a font size increase.

Unfortunately the console doesn't behave very well with some keyboard layouts -- JavaScript gives us key codes rather than actual characters when you press a key, and some key codes mean one thing in one country and other things in other countries. There are improvements to JavaScript coming down the line that might help, but in the meantime unfortunately the only workaround is to use copy/paste to insert characters that you can't directly type.
