Account billing error

Dear supports, yesterday I downgraded my paid account (nothing wrong at all and hopefully will be upgrading again when demands require me to), thinking that, since my bill had only just been taken out a couple of days ago, that I would have the rest of the month of my paid features. Unfortunately PA immediately stopped those features. Is this correct behaviour? Since I have in effect now paid for stuff which I haven't got?

That is the correct behaviour. It's the way every online service that we know of do their billing - probably because it's a major admin headache to try to keep track of. We state very clearly when you downgrade that the downgrade will take effect immediately. The policy is also detailed in our terms of service.

Ok, that's fine. Interesting though, I can think of a lot of services which let the features run until the end of the billing period, hence my assumption.

Yes. Sorry- it's a bit tough to do for us still. For now you will have to download close to the end of your month to take full advantage of your payment.
