I have a python file uploaded in the files tab and I use it in a daily task. I was wondering if that file is in a way public on the internet (accessible with a link) or if it is only accessible to me, because the file contains private content.

All files stored on your account by default are accessible only with a valid session, so when you are logged into your account. You can share files with others or expose them in a web app, e.g. as static files, but unless you do so, they are visible only to you as a logged user.
