Hi guys, I was wondering if you are thinking about changing the PostgreSQL price.

I know that it's already relatively cheap, but my current pet project, which will soon be open sourced and is running on PA with SQLite3 right now, will not be monetized, it's just a free service, and I'm only comfortable while using PostgreSQL.

Well, can't hurt asking, right?

Aaaah, sadly, in this, as in so many things in life, you get what you pay for. Poor, overworked paas software developers pay for postgres with months of blood, sweat and tears, and poor paas users pay for their salaries with their monthly subscriptions ;-)

We do offer discounts for people who pay for a year in advance, you get two months free... But otherwise, you may just have to make your peace with MySQL!

Oh this discount is cool! Is this advertised somewhere? Didn't about it 'till now. Maybe I skipped some lines of text while subscripting for my custom plan... :x Is this available only for PostgreSQL stuff or there's a discount for subscriptions too?
