Same here-- this has happened off and on again for my always running tasks.

Sorry about that, we had a problem with always-on tasks earlier on today. The problem is now fixed, and tasks are spinning up.

In the future, you might want to keep an eye on our Twitter feed -- that's where we post status updates for system-wide issues like this.

All tasks are now up and running -- please contact us on support@pythonanywhere.com if you're still seeing issues.

it's still not working

it have been down for more than 8hours. no one knows about this problem?

What errors do you see in the bottom of the logs of your task?

Problem always seems to come back. Almost feels like it happens on Friday nights or Saturday? Not sure if there's something going on those days. It feels a bit like the mice start playing when the cats are away for the weekend.

There is a bug that we are working on where that happens sometimes on always on servers. We try to make sure that we fix it when it has gone on for too long.
