Will gcc be upgraded to GCC 4.9.1 ??

Will gcc version be upgraded to support C++14 a.k.a C++1y

It will, but we don't have a timeline right now. PythonAnywhere is currently based on Ubuntu 13.10, and we'll pick up 4.9.x when Ubuntu does, which looks like it's happening in the current development version of the OS.
