No Save-Button

Hi, I wanted to try out the console and just followed the tutorial. But I even can't save any file. I opened my empty py-file with the bash, editing it and I'm told to save it with the button in the upper right corner. That's a problem for me: there is no save-button at all - in no corner. The only option offered to me is to share it with others. Used Chrome 35 and Firefox 29.

I normally use Firefox, now on 30 here!

When you're editing a file from the Files tab, you should see a logo and 'pythonanywhere' at top left.

Top right should be a menu of 7 links from 'Send feedback' through to 'Log out'.

Immediately underneath that menu (so still at top right) should be a line containing a link 'Keyboard shortcuts', a combo box (dropdown) with choices 'Normal' or 'Vim', and then two buttons: 'Save' and 'Save & Run'.

You'll only see the 'Save & Run' button if it's a Python source file (extension = .py).

Another possibility is some weird issue with CSS hiding things... Try resizing the browser window?

Otherwise, can you post a screenshot?

Hi Jim thx for your quick reply! I found my very stupid mistake: I belived to have created a py-file. But - upps - I did it in the folder section. So I'm in the right lane now and everything works fine. Cornacap
