I have been getting this message although I have not deployed any app yet. I was messing around with wsgi file at /var/www/ and then I got this. I ran sbibek_pythonanywhere_com_wsgi.py and gave no error but "Error code: 502-backend " still persists. Please help me out.

If you don't have an app set up, you can't be seeing a 502-backedn code. If you are, it's probably because your browser has cached it. Try ctrl+f5 to refresh...
