Connection time out with Let's encryption

I am trying to enable Auto-renewed Lets Encrypt HTTPS certificate , following the instructions on this page 'https://help.pythonanywhere.com/pages/HTTPSSetup' however even though everything seems to have gone as planned, when i try to visit the site through https:// i get a ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT (every time). the http:// site works fine. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?

Your site appears to be working on both http and https to me. Perhaps you have an issue with your browser. Have you tried a different browser or a different machine?
