Scheduled tasks has been talking much longer time than usual for a week now. It happened even on my tasks that run just after reset (not in tarpit). Please check on your schedule tasks that cause this issues.

To add on, similar script run manually, take much shorter time than schedule tasks.

i have been facing the same issue. The schedule jobs are running considerably slower. I have checked for all the possible reasons such as space,tarpit but that does not seems to be the issue. The code runs pretty fast when run on normal console manually. Was there any changes made recently for scheduled tasks

Your tasks are being run on a shared server and it looks like you had busy neighbours. Let us know if it's better now.

Thanks. yes, it's back to normal now. How do i ensure it doesn't happen again because some of my scheduled jobs are really time sensitive.

We are regularly monitoring the state of our servers, but we can't guarantee that there will be no spikes of CPU on shared servers. If you need a service that would be free from such concern, you could use a private server. Yes, it does look like the same issue; I've just moved you over to a less-loaded taskserver, and we'll look into rebalancing the one that was excessively loaded so that other people on there don't have the same problem.

On shared infrastructure, like PythonAnywhere, the performance of your code will vary as the other users place different loads on the machines where your code is running.

Hello i have sent an email. Tried again to trigger a simple script using scheduled job. it was not triggered. Same runs pretty fine on console.
