Hello,
I am looking to temporarily shut off my website and do not want to continue to pay as hosting is the reason I have my subscription. However, I will be looking to turn the website back on in the future and would like to just be able to resume paying and turn the web app back on.
Is there a proper process for this/is this possible?

If you downgrade your account to a free one -- the red button on the "Account" page -- then that will immediately switch you back to a free account. However, your files and data will be safe, even if you're using up more storage than a free account has. Your website will also be suspended, if it's on a custom domain -- if you're using the yourusername.pythonanywhere.com hostname for the site, then you'd need to suspend it on the "Web" page inside PythonAnywhere too.
