How do I rewrite the preinstalled driver

The chromedriver version (90.0.4430.24) detected in PATH at /usr/local/bin/chromedriver might not be compatible with the detected chrome version (116.0.5845.96); currently, chromedriver 116.0.5845.96 is recommended for chrome 116.*, so it is advised to delete the driver in PATH and retry

Pre-installed chromium and driver are mutually compatible and are read-only. You can't delete them. There will be a new version in the next system image.

In my case, I have latest chromium(I don't have any clue how) but a v90 of chromedriver. How do I solve this issue? When will that new system image arrive anyway?

Did you try to install the newest version? We don't have a fixed timeline for the next system image yet.
