Conda environment

Hello there, I am working my local development with conda python 3.5. Is there any possibility to work with the same stack within my PythonAnywhere account?

I tried to do: pip install conda but got this:

Installing collected packages: conda Exception: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/basecommand.py", line 215, in main status = self.run(options, args) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/commands/install.py", line 342, in run prefix=options.prefix_path, File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/req/req_set.py", line 784, in install **kwargs File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/req/req_install.py", line 849, in install self.move_wheel_files(self.source_dir, root=root, prefix=prefix) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/req/req_install.py", line 1062, in move_wheel_files isolated=self.isolated, File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/wheel.py", line 345, in move_wheel_files clobber(source, lib_dir, True) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/wheel.py", line 316, in clobber ensure_dir(destdir) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/utils/init.py", line 83, in ensure_dir os.makedirs(path) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/os.py", line 157, in makedirs mkdir(name, mode) OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/conda_env'

We have a help page for that

Hello glenn,

I've read the the help page and I haven't been able to use a conda environment in the bash console:

ERROR: The install method you used for conda--probably either pip install conda or easy_install conda--is not compatible with using conda as an application. If your intention is to install conda as a standalone application, currently supported install methods include the Anaconda installer and the miniconda installer. You can download the miniconda installer from https://conda.io/miniconda.html.

I have also tried to export a requirements file from conda and use pip to install it in the bash in pythonanywhere, but haven't had any luck with that either:

Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement

It looks like there are two threads about this, so I've answered on this one.
