I'm getting a

502 Bad Gateway
openresty/1.9.15.1

error when I try to open any Jupyter notebook. I've tried logging out and back in, and refreshing the page.

Other files open OK, and the bash console works.

Happening to me as well. Has already been down 4 hours.

This exact same pattern occurs on average once a month for me.

Same experience on all of my notebooks as well. I've logged out and back in.

I've also attempted to login using the incognito/privacy mode to make sure the problem as not cookies or cache related -- 502 Bad Gateway when opening notebooks.

I've attempted to login via the mobile browser on my phone. Same result -- 502 Bad Gateway when opening notebooks.

Same here I cannot use the notebook feature at all

12 hours and still waiting. I've already sent email directly to support@pythonanywhere.com.

I'm sorry about that, it should be back shortly. I honestly can't see why our alerting system isn't picking this up; we should have been paged about it as soon as the problem occurred, but there seems to be some failure mode we just can't nail down.
