Could anyone help me identify the problem ? I am successfully able to install the library nut it returns an empty data frame every time.

Do you mean this library? My guess is that it's trying to access a site that is not on the whitelist. If you'd like us to add a site to the whitelist, please give us the hostname that needs to be added, and a link to that site's official API documentation.
